A HUPO2011 Satellite Workshop hosted by the Swiss Institute for Bioinformatics @ The University of Geneva
The Seattle Proteome Center (SPC) at the Institute for Systems Biology and the Swiss Institute for Bioinformatics (SIB) are pleased to offer a five-day intensive course in proteomic informatics. This course will be held one week prior to HUPO 2011 (Aug 29-Sep 2) at the University of Geneva and will focus on the use of powerful open-source software tools for the analysis, validation, storage and interpretation of data obtained from large-scale quantitative proteomics experiments and methods, and quantitative tandem mass spectrometry. Through daily lectures and hands-on tutorials, course participants will become proficient in the use of these tools, including the highly regarded statistical validation tools PeptideProphet, ProteinProphet, and other components of the Trans-Proteomic Pipeline (TPP).
