Dr. Jane Thibeault earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Biophysics in 2019 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her graduate work, with Professors Wilfredo Colón and Blanca Barquera, examined proteins hyperstability with major projects focused on common pathogens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylocococcus aureus, as well as members of the gut microbiota, including several monocultured Bacteroides species. Dr. Thibeault joined the Moritz lab at ISB in June 2019, upon completion of her degree, expanding her research focus to advanced mass spectrometry methods and analysis.
