Jennifer Villazon

Jennifer Villazon received her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She joined Kashiv Biosciences (formerly Adello Biologics) where she worked in the development of biosimilar drug candidates in various therapeutic areas, including cancer. She worked as part of the manufacturing team, with focus on bacterial cell culture, cell bank generation, protein purification and drug substance formulation. She also collaborated with multiple departments where she learned about Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry. Jennifer joined the Product Development team at Kashiv, where she focused on process improvement projects, performed process characterization experiments, authored and reviewed protocols, master batch records, SOPs and deviations. Jennifer joined the Moritz Lab at ISB in July 2019.
